All commercial charter operators in Australia must hold an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) under the Civil Aviation Act 1988. Before paying any deposit, ask the operator for their AOC certificate number and verify it at casa.gov.au or call CASA on 131 757.
